She is author of Gala, published by Solitude Hill Press in March 2022. Lynne’s poetry has been published in over 200 journals and magazines. She has been writer-in-residence in six countries, including Lithuania, Morocco, and Spain. Originally from Ozone Park, Queens, Lynne grew up in Culver City, California. She studied Comparative Literature at San Diego State and earned an MA from Brandeis University. In the 1980s Lynne worked at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York.
